Alternative Cancer Therapies
 Dr.Lucinda has been helping cancer patients for several years with natural medicine. More recently she has committed to becoming more of a specialist or integrative oncologist through specialty fellowship training. This training involved a thorough review of traditional oncology with an emphasis on natural treatments for cancer. An intergrative approach is very possible and is a great idea for helping cancer patients rehabilitate their immune system. The addition of supplemental anticancer and immune supportive nutrients can be very beneficial , both before and after conventional treatments (chemo and radiation). We also offer alternative medicines for cancer and diet by themselves; when chemotherapy or radiation is not appropiate or acceptable.
What about chemotherapy? The reality is that this form of treatment for cancer, alone, rarely eliminates cancer entirely. There are only a few cancers that respond well to chemo. The other forms of cancer are rarely helped at all; this is because chemo does not address the cause of the disease; the stem cell and the poor enviroment (toxic bloodstream/gut and nutritional deficiencies.) Stem cells hide and outsmart chemotherapy by becoming resistant to the chemicals used; very much like a bacteria does with an antibiotic.
These two very important issues are addressed with alternative cancer therapies. First off, the type or types of tumor cells can now be analyzed; this can be performed in several different ways; whole blood can be analyzed and/or a specimen of the tumor can be evaluated .
The makeup of the cancer cells/tumor is analyzed for its genetics, sensitivities to different chemotherapies, as well as to several other biological and nutritional agents; thereby customizing a natural cancer therapy protocol for your particular type/types of cancer cells. It is impossible for an oncologist to be accurately predict which chemotherapeutic agent(s) are going to work on your particular cell line unless you know exactly what you are dealing with. Most ooncologists 'skip' this form of testing and throw a chemo cocktail at the patient; which can lead to further resistance and unsuccessfful results; not to mentiion severe obliteration of the patients immune system.

Biochemical evaluation of the patient's blood,urine and or hair to determine what type of anticancer diet is appropriate for them.
Set them up with a cancer tutor /advocate /caregiver if needed
A thorough teaching of their new diet is given
